Specializing in wave and frequency management, the radio frequency engineer is primarily responsible for specifications related to radio settings and ensures the various radio adjustments of the equipment. He is the one who designs, develops, and validates specific transmission equipment adapted to environments exposed to radiation.
Description of Key Activities
Participate in defining the hardware architectures of radio modules, drafting specification and verification documents for the modules
Conduct technical feasibility analysis while ensuring compliance with technical requirements, taking constraints into account
Carry out hardware development work: designing amplification, filtering, and RF conversion functions
Establish and ensure the coexistence of RF modules and antennas embedded within subsystems
Monitor the technical evolution of the field and measurement equipment
Participate in RF measurement campaigns on sites hosting the solutions
Perform measurements and organize verification and validation tests
Responsible for important, suitable, and scalable hardware and equipment
